North Florida Shade was founded by Raymond Rodriguez, a lifelong nursery professional with more than 25 years of experience in the nursery industry. Growing up alongside his father in the business, Raymond developed an early appreciation for the hard work, knowledge, and dedication required to grow quality trees. What began as a childhood passion eventually became a lifelong career and the realization of a dream—to own and operate his own nursery.
Today, North Florida Shade specializes in providing healthy, high-quality trees for large-scale landscape, development, and restoration projects throughout the region. Built on decades of experience and a commitment to quality, our nursery takes pride in helping customers create lasting beauty and shade for generations to come.
“I’ve spent my entire life around trees and the nursery business. Owning my own nursery has always been a dream of mine, and I’m proud to provide quality trees that will create beauty and shade for generations to come.” — Raymond Rodriguez
